AAHomecare Fly-In Focuses on Competitive Bidding
In his keynote address, Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., vowed to use his position to convince colleagues to “stop, understand and listen to what is happening to the industry” in hopes of delaying or preventing competitive bidding.
As a result of lobbying efforts, a “Dear Colleague” letter, initiated by Rep. Jason Altmire, D-Pa., was circulated in both the House and Senate. The letter raised small-business concerns about competitive bidding. At press time, 137 letters had been sent to CMS from the House and Senate.
