Cirrus Data Introduces Sleep Disorder Alliance Group for Online Lead Generation

May 1, 2007

Cirrus Data Management, a company that offers online lead generation for home health providers, recently launched the Sleep Disorder Alliance Group. The new offering joins the company’s two other lead generation programs for mobility and diabetes.

“We’re heavily involved in the diabetic space today, generating roughly 35,000 leads a month,” says Geoff Swindle, president and founder. “The crossover of diabetic and sleep apnea patients is very high. It was a logical next step for us, as far as a disease category, to move into. … Also, the age demographic of a sleep apnea patient fits in very well with the demographic of an Internet user.”

The program relies on a range of advertising to garner end-user responses. Swindle says the company has great relationships with large online traffic generators and uses e-mail broadcasts, display advertisements, surveys and search engines to reach out to potential sleep apnea clients. The end-user actually completes a lead form that’s then e-mailed to an HME provider paying for that lead or batched directly into the provider’s database in real time.

Providers can select as many leads per month as they’d like in a given geographic area. The leads are not assigned to multiple providers.

The program has the potential to reach the many undiagnosed and untreated sleep apnea patients in the United States but for now will focus mostly on disposables.

“Our program is very comparable to that of a TV or radio or print ad, except our customers can directly measure the results,” says Swindle.
